Mean Girls Jr. Auditions

Hey friends!
We are so excited to officially invite you to audition for Mean Girls Jr. at Dream Star Performing Arts!
Performance dates will be November 19th through the 22nd. A tentative rehearsal schedule can be found at the following link:

Vocal Auditions will be held by appointment on Saturday, August 1st, from 10:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday, August 2nd, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

Please bring your filled out audition form and your filled in conflict calendar with you to your scheduled vocal audition.

What to Expect:

  • Auditionees will sing their cut one at a time during their slot for our production team. 

  • There will be a group dance call at 4:00pm following vocal auditions. Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toed shoes.

  • Vocal auditions will be with music tracks from the show and the practice materials can be found at the following link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MlcHaPaWdWz_OrnB6aJvfJuKD_C2-XHf?usp=sharing

  • Please bring a recent headshot and a resume if you have one. Headshots do NOT need to be professional; we just want to keep a face to all the wonderful names we see!

  • Callbacks will be held by invitation August 3rd from 6:00 - 9:00. Not everyone that is cast will be needed for a callback! If you are needed, you will receive an email from the team specifying when and what to prepare. No one is expected to completely memorize callback material.

  • We want you to have a great audition and have fun! Perfection is not necessary here. Just be yourself, make big choices, and show us YOU.
